Product update - data-driven attribution and Google connected sheet are now live!
We’re happy to announce another round of Dreamdata product updates: more, better, faster! Since our last product update, the Dreamdata product team has launched another set of great features:
Data-driven attribution
Google Connected Sheets
Self-service stage models
Contact list exporting
Below’s a quick intro into our biggest releases.
Data-driven attribution: for an unbiased view of your go-to-market performance
The big headline is data-driven attribution which is now available alongside our other attribution models.
Data-driven attribution is a machine learning model that uses historic customer journey data to know which touchpoints matter most.
The multi-touch model then distributes credit according to this data, giving users an unbiased view of what go-to-market efforts really drive growth.
Data-driven attribution can be used by go-to-market teams to learn about their typical customer journey and to optimise performance based on the activities that have the biggest impact.
The model is available to all Dreamdata Business tier customers or as an op-in at lower tiers.
You can get the full low-down on data-driven attribution in this launch post.
Google Connected Sheet: so spreadsheet lovers can get Dreamdata data onto Google Sheets
Do you want to run custom reporting? Are you a fan of spreadsheets? Or do you simply want to query data without SQL? Then this update is just for you!
Dreamdata Business tier customers can now directly connect their Dreamdata database to Google Sheets.
With this update users will be able to:
Access, analyse, visualize and share billions of rows of data from Google Sheet
Collaborate with stakeholders without exporting data, and thereby ensure a single source of truth.
Ensure a single source of truth for data analysis without additional spreadsheet exports.
Streamline reporting and dashboard workflows.
Here’s a step-by-step guide for how to set up your Google Connected Sheets.
Create custom stage models through self-service
Dreamdata has been increasing its self-service functionality, and this next update is a big step in that direction.
When your Dreamdata account is first created, an event-based stage model named First Business Conversion is automatically set up - representing the first conversion event.
Once you integrate your primary CRM system with Dreamdata, two additional stage models are automatically created, Deal Created and Deal Closed-Won.
Users who are currently on this default stage model setup will now be able to create, update, and delete stage models. This includes trigger events, attribution value, as well as stage and unit labels.
Stage models = pipeline stage segments and conversion events.
This self-service feature allows users to build a more custom experience that better reflects your unique go-to-market needs.
You can find detailed instructions on setting up custom stage models here.
Export Contacts from Journey Lists
A final recent feature release that’s worth noting is the exporting functionality for Contacts and Companies (in the Journeys dashboard).
Users on the Business and Team tiers will now be able to easily export the complete list - or filtered lists - of contacts sitting in their Dreamdata data.
This makes using and querying any further custom segmentation, say for audience-building, easier and more accessible.
We hope these features will help you get more out of Dreamdata! And as always, please do let us know what you think and pass along any feedback!
