How do you track value and revenue when your timeframe is more than 12 months?

Some of the challenges that Lars touches upon are:
The challenging long B2B sales journeys
Not just tracking the person with the creditcard and understanding multiple stakeholders roles
The problem of data living too many places
The pitfalls of trusting Google Analytics and the lack of ability to join GA data with other sources
Lars suggests two necessities for how to solve the challenge:
Ensure very rich behavioral tracking data (Segment.com can help with this)
Make sure you uniquely identify people when possible (chat, form, newsletter etc.)
DO DO DO store this data in a database that you own
When you have those two data points you can try and join this data yourself or use a product like Dreamdata.io.
