Data information, erasure and rectification policy

1. Purpose 

This policy outlines the processes for handling customers’ and users’ requests to know what data we hold, delete that data and rectify that data.

2. Process - Information request

  1. requests are sent to privacy@dreamdata.io

  2. the requests are handled by the CTO

  3. the request is logged in the Data information, erasure and rectification request register

  4. the validity of the request is evaluated by the CTO

    1. if the request is valid the CTO assigns a responsible agent to handle the request

    2. if the request is invalid the CTO informs the requester of the reason why we cannot comply with the request

  5. the appointed responsible agent searches through the relevant systems for entries for the requester and gathers a complete list of entries

  6. the data is sent back to the requester

  7. the agent logs the actions in the Data information, erasure and rectification request register

3. Process - Rectification request

  1. requests are sent to privacy@dreamdata.io

  2. the requests are handled by the CTO

  3. the request is logged in the Data information, erasure and rectification request register

  4. the validity of the request is evaluated by the CTO

    1. if the request is valid the CTO assigns a responsible agent to handle the request

    2. if the request is invalid the CTO informs the requester of the reason why we cannot comply with the request

  5. the appointed responsible agent searches through the relevant systems for entries for the requester and gathers a complete list of entries

  6. the required rectifications are made and documentation of the rectification is collected in the form of screenshots

  7. the documentation of rectification is sent back to the requester

  8. the agent logs the actions in the Data information, erasure and rectification request register

4. Process - Deletion request

  1. requests are sent to privacy@dreamdata.io

  2. the requests are handled by the CTO

  3. the request is logged in the Data information, erasure and rectification request register

  4. the validity of the request is evaluated by the CTO

    1. if the request is valid the CTO assigns a responsible agent to handle the request

    2. if the request is invalid the CTO informs the requester of the reason why we cannot comply with the request

  5. the appointed responsible agent searches through the relevant systems for entries for the requester and gathers a complete list of entries

  6. the required deletions are made and documentation of the deletions is collected in the form of screenshots

  7. the documentation of deletion is sent back to the requester

  8. the agent logs the actions in the Data information, erasure and rectification request register
