Customize your engagement score with AI Signals

Steffen Hedebrandt, Dreamdata's CMO, shows how to customize your engagement score using Dreamdata Signals.

Supplementary Guide

These steps allow you to replicate the recipe. For context, we recommend you watch the video above.

Step 1: Understand Dreamdata's engagement score

Dreamdata's Engagement Score automatically aggregates the signals you’ve chosen to track into a single score. The score reflects how engaged a company is with your brand, helping you spot buying intent early and focus on in-market accounts.

Step 2: Customizing the score

Define what “intent” means by fine-tuning which signals matter most for your business. And tailor your engagement scoring model to match your GTM strategy.

  1. Navigate to Audience Hub > Signals.

  2. Click on “Create New Signal” and select “Choose from AI Signals.”

  3. Dreamdata's Signals uses AI to scan all your go-to-market data to identify behaviors that correlate with pipeline and revenue.

  4. Adjust the AI engine’s focus on signals that are earlier or later in your pipeline.

  5. Review the impact level of each signal: strong, significant, or moderate. The stronger the correlation to the chosen stage of your pipeline, the more important the signal.

  6. Choose a signal you would like to use in your engagement score and click “Activate”.

  7. If you want to edit or refine the AI suggestions, you can do so.

  8. Tick off the “Include this Signal in the Dreamdata Engagement Score” option to include this signal in the calculation of your custom engagement score.

Note: If you already know the types of events or behaviors that matter in your go-to-market motion, you can create your own signals manually.

Conclusion:

By following these steps, you’ll be able to customize your engagement score in Dreamdata to reveal the most active accounts.
