Inspect individual customer journey timeline and touchpoints

Supplementary Guide

The Company Journey view helps you identify which touchpoints took place when and by whom of each of your accounts. This allows you to identify obvious patterns behind every stage of the journey. Which in turn enables you to:

1. Replicate journeys that lead to winning deals, and avoid those that were lost.

2. Report and analyse from a single source of truth for a shared understanding across teams.

3. Run attribution analysis on individual journeys to see the most important/impactful touches

The following steps show you how.

Step 1: Access your desired Dreamdata Customer Journey timeline

Head to the Customer Journeys > Companies, or, Customer Journeys > Deals reports to find the account you are looking for.

Alternatively, find the cohort you are looking for using the Audience Hub > Audiences, e.g. your biggest deals in the quarter or your ABM target accounts, and select companies from there.

Step 2: Select the desired touchpoints to highlight

Use the Channels, Sources, Campaigns and/or Conversions filter to highlight touchpoints on the timeline.

Use the ‘only’ toggle to view only these touchpoints.

Now you can see which touches (sessions) have played a role in that account's journey. Use this to analyse any patters common across your top accounts,

Step 3: Select the pipeline stage

To focus on a particular stage of the customer journey, select the relevant pipeline stage under ‘Stages’.

Step 4: Run attribution on the journey

Once you have selected a stage model the option to run this individual journey through attribution modelling becomes available.

Click the ‘Attribution’ button to take you to the attribution analysis, where you can analyze the most impactful touches using the different attribution models available.
