Announcing SOC2 Type II certification and a new security page!

We’re delighted to announce that Dreamdata is now SOC2 Type II certified!

Following our SOC2 Type I announcement in Q4 last year, we have now had the applicable auditing of our controls and policies implementation - leading to our Type II certification!

Once again, this cements our commitment to handling data securely, transparently and to the required standards.

In this same spirit, we’re also excited to share a great new security and privacy portal that offers a complete overview of all relevant security details and documentation.

What is SOC2 Type II certification?

Achieving SOC2 Type II certification signifies that an external auditor (in our case Johanson LLP) has assessed that Dreamdata has implemented robust, reliable, and sustainable controls for managing and securing our data in accordance with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants’s (AICPA) Trust Services Criteria.

Why is SOC2 important for the Dreamdata user?

Moving up to Type II proves that customers can continue trusting us with their data, knowing that it is being handled and processed according to the highest standards set by the AICPA.

Most importantly, it gives the necessary peace of mind so customers can focus on what matters most gaining all the valuable insights from Dreamdata - without worrying about their data being mishandled or lost due to inadequate security measures.

Ole Dallerup, Dreamdata CTO and co-founder, added “we’re extremely happy to have obtained the SOC2 Type II certification. We take the responsibility of handling our customer’s data very seriously, and this industry-leading certification recognises our commitment to this.”

New Dreamdata security portal

In tandem with our SOC2 Type II announcement, we’ve also released this new security portal which offers an overview of all our security practices and relevant certification.

This adds an important layer of transparency which will once again ease any concern on data handling customers might have.
